These are the best Christmas Starbucks drinks for 2024!
I've already tried the Starbucks Christmas menu so that you don't have to, and I'm going to tell you my favourite seasonal drinks in order of "you 100% deffs need to try this" to "you can probably keep this off your wish list."
Starbucks Australia has finally released their Christmas menu! We've got some classics making a comeback, and we have some exciting newbies.
Even though we're in sunny, hot Australia and I usually go for an iced version, I'll still make considerations for the hot drinks—they're just to be consumed in an air-conditioned room only.
Without further ado, here are my rankings for the best Christmas Starbucks menu items:
Coming in at Number 4: Toffee Nut Crunch
I love the toffee, but I’m not the biggest fan of the nuts. I tried this as a cold brew with the toffee nut cream foam on top, but I much prefer it in its hotter counterpart with oat milk instead of as a cold brew topper. And if we’re talking cold brew toppers—pumpkin spice is my yearly favourite, so it’s going to be hard to compete. Expect a slightly nutty flavour with only a very faint toffee taste.
Number 3: The Gingerbread Latte
Again, I had this as an iced gingerbread latte with oat milk, and it was delicious! Sometimes it takes me a few sips to get used to the spicy flavour, but halfway through, I was loving it—especially with oat milk. It just tastes like Christmas in a drink.
Number 2: The Classic Peppermint Mocha
This is my Christmas go-to—it's around every year, and it's a trustworthy favourite! Just adding peppermint syrup to a mocha makes it delicious. Although I always think of mochas as a hot, cozy drink by the fire, it's also good iced. Sometimes, though, the mocha can be a little too chocolatey, but she’s there when I need her during times of Christmas stress.
NUMBER 1: A NEW CONTESTANT THIS YEAR
The Salted Pretzel Cocoa Latte (I had this iced). Oh my god—it was like drinking a salted pretzel! I drank it so quickly I didn’t have time to breathe. It was delicious—perfectly salted and sweet—and even had little pretzel bits on top of the cream. This is a huge winner in my books, and I don’t think people have caught on yet, so run, don’t walk, to your nearest Starbucks and try this drink of the season!
And with that, the 2024 season comes to an end.
I'm excited what Starbucks drinks we'll get next year!
